The seasons are changing! The crisp fall air has us all reaching for cozy knits, comfy sweaters, and boots for days. It also has many folks reaching for their wallets thinking they need an entirely new closet each time the weather changes. Now, while coats and jackets make sense if you live in a climate that calls for that, most of your closet can be adapted with some creative styling. Here are some of the go-to summer favorites and how you can introduce them to some sweater weather.

Crop Tops or Tie-Front Tops: Wear with high-waisted trousers, or jeans and a jacket for a casual look that will highlight your waist.

You can even pair this type of top with a pencil skirt and blazer for an easy profesional option.

Little Summer Dress: Bright summer dresses are practically begging to be setup with a great pair of tights, boots and a jacket with some edge. My favorite matchup is pairing a really feminine dress with a leather jacket or a classic trench coat.

Tank tops: These warm weather staples are perfect for layering under sweaters, cardigans or jackets. This will give your outfit dimension without making your sweat under unnecessary layers.

Kimono: Easiest layering of your life. Kimonos go pretty well with most outfits, and can be worn outside of music festivals. Throw it on top of your blouse and trousers to add some interest to your office wear. Easily wear on top of any t-shirt to give you a boost of warmth without heavy layers. You can also wear a Kimono on top of a dress and use a belt to define your waist and tie the look together.

Sheer Tops: This piece naturally transitions to cooler weather. Wear a tank top under and a jacket over for a look with dimension and just the right dose of sex appeal.

Enjoy your look and your wardrobe all year long!
